This was very enjoyable... minus points for the weak graphics, but gameplay was fun.

Still, one of the riddles drove me to comment. It's the one with the red and green gems: the guy asks how many gems you would have to be pull out to be sure you got two different gems? The correct answer is two; he didn't specify that the gems had to be different colors.

I get it, but let's face it, it's a terrible game. The reasons are obvious--excessive repetition and no real interesting objective. It's simple and boring. Unfortunately, anything you could do to salvage the game--like adding minigames to the facebook page or w/e, would also destroy the point.

There's so much I liked--the graphics, the new titans, and the gameplay were all pretty awesome. Still, there were some things I didn't like.

First, beating the game over and over with different generals is pretty boring, because there's no real change to the game on the different playthroughs. Perhaps you could make it so different heros have unique challenges, enemies, or troops?

Second, the last cave of trial was really annoying; I really hate the 'stun one enemy for a long time' style of fighting.

Third, I thought that the text stories in EW2 were pretty epic, and I'd like to see those back again.

This was pretty funny, with great drawing.

To the guy below me who said: "The Tower of Babel was made to prove that man was stronger than god..." I'd be interested in knowing where he heard that. It isn't said in the Bible, and I don't know of any historical source that says that. In fact, according to Genesis 11:4 the people constructing the tower said: "...and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth." That is the only reason given for the tower's construction. He gets it even wronger when he says God destroyed the tower to punish them for impudence; actually, according to the Bible:

11:6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

Clearly, he destroyed Babel to prevent the people from working together, not to punish their audacity. This cartoon represents it fairly accurately--well, aside from the obvious wise-cracking.

The AI was a bit random and inconsistent, which was annoying at times, but also rewarding when it moved it's queen into attack range sometimes.

Is there anything to the main menu? I opened the silver lock, but can't go further than that.

PS if you're having trouble provoking a piece to move, try it from different angles.

It's pretty fun, and I love the way you try to illustrate the past and predict the future =D Still, it seems too easy to win. I totally lost control of Congress once, and they didn't do jack-shit to me, even though only 3 of them were... properly greased, shall we say. I think you should make them more ready to pass anti-oil legislation when you lose control.

I'd like it if the Nigerian scene would have a button like the one in Iraq, so you can just move in more soldiers without having to scroll over to the palace.

To other players: First, make a ridiculously high supply of oil. That will hugely increase dependence. When you get 100 dependence, blow up a few plants to drop production. Bam, you've suddenly got an oil-starved public. Oil prices will skyrocket, and you'll make 30 grand a year, easy.

Galatic seems to think that your efforts to... overendow... the main character subtracted from the overall artwork, but I disagree. You certainly overdid it, and I was planning on mentioning the tattered pants thing myself, but the other artistry didn't seem to suffer much.

Seriously, this thing had me in the first five seconds. From the blood splatters on the picture, the smoke trail where you can plainly see the plane changing course, to her black eye... all I can say is that it fits together so well it's mind-boggling.

When I saw the bombs going off, I was speechless. Everything from the birds being incinerated to the Washington Monument falling was just perfect. Perhaps the best scenes I've seen on Newgrounds.

This thing is a masterpiece. There aren't a half-dozen flashes on Newgrounds that have this kind of quality. The graphics are masterful, but really the entire thing just fits. The spooky-slow rise of the weapons, the streamers of smoke, the EMP... It doesn't just look real, it FEELS real--and that's something few people can do well.

I tip my hat to you, sir.

"XP balance tested 'very well'?"

I really enjoyed the game, but I find it difficult to believe that you tested the balance on anyone but yourself. This is one tough bitch. Remember, players who weren't in the design process and don't know the winning strategy aren't going to find it as easy as you do.

I think you could definitely improve it by adding some other upgrades, like perhaps an automatic firing tower--but then that's partly because I hate all the clicking.

To other players:
Your ultimate goal early on should be to set up a cycle, where you snipe them until your clip is empty, and then while you're reloading you call an airstrike. The reload speed, ammo capacity, and aistrike upgrades are all great for this. The damage upgrade is as good as an ammo capacity upgrade, because it reduces the shots per target.

The game says you should hold down the left key, and isn't very specific. Only hold it down for a few seconds--long enough to kill a person--and then release it. THE LONGER YOU HOLD IT THE LESS ACCURATE IT BECOMES.
